My In/Out List For 2023

TL;DR: Stop bullying yourself into creating unsustainable resolutions every new year; instead, look at things in a holistic framework of what’s in or out.

Each January, a newfound (read: routine) pressure to become a completely new person on January 2nd emerges from the depths of an exhausted Q4 gal. So often, the “new year, new me” mentality leads us to overload our system with futile goals and resolutions. However, this year I invite us to look past the overcrowded gym and unsustainable diets we tell ourselves we’ll keep and look within instead.

Let me explain how. Start by listing what you want to keep or cultivate this year and what you want to remove or stop. That is the habits, trends, and thought patterns that are in, and those that gotta go out.

  • Eating slowly

  • Asking questions to listen not speak

  • People you can be silent around & not feel awk.
